House to hold first hearing on No Child Left Behind reauthorization

The House Committee on Education and the Workforce will conduct its first hearing concerning the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) (known as No Child Left Behind) on Thursday.  The hearing is entitled: “Education in the Nation: Examining the Challenges and Opportunities Facing America’s Classrooms.”  The disability community has a number of important objectives for ESEA reauthorization.  Click here to read our legislative agenda for education, including specific goals for ESEA.  For more information on the hearing, see
