EEOC issues final regulations on the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA)

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) released final regulations implementing the employment provisions (Title II) of the GINA. Title II of GINA prohibits the use of genetic information to make decisions about health insurance and employment, and restricts receiving and sharing of genetic information.  The EEOC also issued question-and-answer documents on the final GINA regulations, including one to help small businesses comply with the law.  See the Q & A at
