Long-Term Care Commission

The bipartisan Commission on Long-Term Care will meet this week in Washington, DC and hold a public hearing on Populations in Need of LTSS (Long Term Services and Supports) and Service Delivery Issues.  The Public Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17, from 1:30 to 4:30 in SDG-50 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.  Dr. David Braddock , Executive Director of the Coleman Institute for Cognitive Disabilities and Senior Associate Vice President of the University of Colorado System has been invited to testify. Dr. Braddock is well known in the I/DD community for his work on the State of the States in Developmental Disabilities, a study of now 35 years of continuous data spanning 1977 through 2011, through the University of Colorado and the University of Illinois at Chicago, supported in part by the Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities at the Department of Human Services.
