Senate to Hold Field Hearing on the Americans with Disabilities Act and Employment

On July 13th the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) will hold a field hearing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on “The Americans with Disabilities Act at 22: A New Generation of Iowans Approaches the Labor Force with High Expectations.” The hearing will highlight disability rights and employment, and will examine successful strategies to help young adults with disabilities obtain opportunities to achieve success in the competitive labor market.
